Nazimet feijoas have a large pear shaped fruit, soft inside with sweet flavour. It has excellent eating quality, and the fruit doesn’t darken after being cut.
In Australia, feijoa trees are partially self-pollinating. Better yields can be obtained by planting at least 2 varieties nearby to assist with pollination.
