Nashi Pear 'China'

Nashi Pear ‘China’ (Pyrus pyrifolia), also known as the Asian pear or apple pear, produces crisp, juicy fruit with a sweet, refreshing flavour and an apple-like shape. Originating from East Asia, these pears are prized for their crunchy texture and are hard to find in shops but easy to grow in home gardens. The tree typically grows to around 2–4 metres tall at maturity, making it well suited to most backyards and home orchards.
