The Sapodilla Tropical, scientifically known as Manilkara zapota, is a tropical evergreen tree celebrated for its delectable, sweet fruit. Originating from southern Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean, this tree is now extensively cultivated in many tropical regions worldwide.
The Sapodilla Tropical tree can grow up to 30 metres (98 feet) in height and features dense, glossy green leaves and a rugged, dark brown bark. Its leaves are simple, oval-shaped, and leathery, contributing to a lush and vibrant canopy.
