While all possible care has been taken in the presentation of this website, the information contained therein is provided in good faith and is to be treated as a guide only. We strive to provide useful and accurate advice to customers about plant species and how to care for them. Customers are responsible for conducting their own research and satisfying themselves that any claims made by us are indeed true and accurate. Ladybird Nursery will not be held liable for errors or omissions, or any damage or loss resulting from the information we provided. This applies to all information we have provided in any format (email, website, phone, and all other communication platforms).

Ladybird Nursery has created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our strong commitment to your privacy.

Some of our site’s pages encourages users to give us contact information such as their name and email address and/or phone number. This information is used to enable us to keep in touch with our customers. We do not share it with a third party or for any other purpose except for the delivery of your plants.

This site contains links to other sites and we are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such Web sites.

Product Disclaimer

All our plants leave the nursery in good condition and health at the time of dispatch. No guarantee of future performance is given as this is dependent on factors beyond our control. We accept no liability for any damage or loss incurred as a result of our plants or products. To the extent the law permits, liability is limited to replacement of plants, or payment in the manner of a refund of the price paid for plants. From the time of dispatch, the risk of loss, damage to, or deterioration of plants from whatever cause arising, shall be borne by the purchaser. We accept no liability for plants and products that were damaged (or delayed) in transit while being shipped to the customer. We do not issue refunds or free replacements for plants that have died or become ill after leaving the nursery. While every possible care is taken to send all plants from our nursery true to name, variety, and description, this is not guaranteed and we provide no compensation for any plants which may prove to be untrue to the label, or any damage or loss from this occurring (this is extremely uncommon).

Refund Policy

The Ladybird Nursery team wants you to love your plants as much as we do! If there are any issues with your purchase, we would love to help you.

We do not accept returns for incorrect orders of plants.

If you are not happy with your purchase, please follow the steps below:

  1. Notify us within 24 hours by email (or via our Contact Page) and we will do our best to resolve the situation.
  2. Please continue to care for your new plants, paying attention to their watering and light requirements.
  3. Depending on the issue we will be happy to offer a refund, partial refund or exchange at our sole discretion.

If you have any concerns about the care of your plant, please contact us for guidance.

If your goods are damaged on arrival, please take a photo and contact us immediately via email so that we can follow up the matter with the delivery company and assist you with how to bring your plant back to good health if possible.

All orders to WA, TAS AND NT must have Quarantine arranged and paid by the customer. We do not accept any responsibility for losses due to plants not meeting specific states biosecurity laws.

All Cancelled orders, or Orders made for places we don’t ship to, will incur a $20 refund fee to cover our costs of administration and payment handling fees.

It is the customers responsibility to follow up on the tracking of their packages, sometimes emails can be in junk mail.

It is the customers responsibility to follow up on missing or damaged parcels with the courier you chose at the checkout.

Please do not post plants back without first contacting us via our Contact Form.

Note: Gift Cards are non-refundable.
