Italian Cypress Glauca (Cupressus sempervirens), or Italian Pencil Pine, is a tall, narrow, evergreen conifer prized for its striking blue-green foliage and strong architectural form. It typically grows 10–15 m high with a slim spread of 1–2 m, making it ideal for formal gardens, avenues, and screening. This drought-tolerant plant prefers full sun, thrives in well-drained soil, and requires low water once established. Italian Cypress Glauca is well suited to coastal and Mediterranean-style landscapes. Cupressus sempervirens is native to the Mediterranean region.
