Hardenbergia 'Royal Flush' (Hardenbergia violacea), also known as Happy Wanderer, is a vigorous, evergreen climber prized for its cascading habit and masses of rich purple, pea-shaped flowers. It typically reaches 2–4 m in height with a spread of 1–2 m, making it ideal for fences, trellises, and pergolas. Flowering from late winter to spring, it provides excellent colour when many other plants are dormant. This hardy plant prefers full sun to part shade, requires low to moderate water once established, and thrives in well-drained soil with minimal maintenance. Hardenbergia violacea is native to Australia, making it a great choice for water-wise and native gardens.
