Society Garlic “Fragrant Tulbaghia” (Tulbaghia simmleri) is a charming and fragrant addition to any garden. This hardy perennial produces soft pink to pale lilac star-shaped flowers with a lovely sweet scent that’s more floral than garlicky. It grows to about 30 to 40 centimetres tall and wide, with soft, strappy green leaves and delicate flower clusters that bloom from spring through autumn. Plant it in full sun to part shade and water moderately for best results. It’s perfect for garden beds, borders or pots and brings beauty with barely any effort.
