Olive ‘Kalamata’ (Olea europaea) is a classic Mediterranean olive tree producing large, dark purple fruits prized for table use and oil. Growing to around 3–5 metres tall, it’s ideal for home orchards, garden beds, or large pots. Thrives in full sun with well-drained soil and requires minimal maintenance once established. Drought-tolerant and hardy, it provides evergreen foliage, seasonal flowers, and a bountiful harvest of olives for fresh eating, pickling, or pressing.
